Welcome to Lancashire Federation

Welcome to Lancashire Federation of WIs   We have over 8000 members across 172 WIs, from the Yealands and Tunstall in the north to Halewood and Levenshulme in the south.

LFWI was formed in 1920.  We offer fun, friendship and the chance to develop new skills as well as the opportunity to campaign on both local and national issues.

Our sub-committees work hard to deliver interesting and educational courses on cookery, craft, cultural events, fun leisure and sporting taster days as well as tours and excursions.

Our Federation office is based in Leyland, telephone 01772 459020.  Office opening hours are Monday - Thursday 10.00am until 3.00pm.

Take a look around our website, a friendly and useful resource for all members and prospective members.  You can also find out more about the WI at www.nfwi.org.uk
